Sales Acceleration Coaching Works!
When compared to the average cost of a local or regional sales seminar, sales acceleration coaching is  a bargain. Even though we put on sales seminars and want you to attend them, there is a better way to ensure long term sales growth.

Think of it this way, If your salesperson needs guidance. would you pour a bucket of knowledge and expect them to absorb it all at once? Or, would you adopt a little knowledge over a longer period of time with support and guidance along the way.

Consistent Coaching vs Sales Seminars

Coaching is the difference between a drip irrigation system versus dumping a bucket of water on a plant. With the bucket, most of the water and the valuable nourishment it might contain will NOT reach the plant root and it is a waste of resources.

Just as in sales coaching, the drip system works more effectively using less water. So, don't dump a seminar on sales people who really need consistent direction, encouragement and sales tools to achieve success.

We provide  the drip approach with sales coaching, direction and the best practices of sales along with the experience of selling successfully. We know how to produce motivated salespeople with goals and objectives through our coaching sessions. Our 45 minute bi weekly sessions, action plans, strategic planning and guidance with tough accounts will deliver the results you are looking for.

How we charge for sales coaching?
We base our fees on individual and company needs. We determine this after a 20 minute FREE consultation. The range is $300.00 to $4,500.00 per month. The rates vary but often include 3 to 5  hours of coaching per month. We determine the value and investment depending upon your needs. We practice what we preach and can't provide a definite quote unless we know how and whom we are working with. The bottom line is that this is a lot less expensive than the typical cost of attending a seminar when you consider the travel expenses and the fact that most of the knowledge will disappear days after attending the session. With Sales Coaching, each salesperson will have direct access through email and telephone. We provide progress reports, sales exercises and customer profile analysis to ensure clients stay on track. Our coaching system is designed to challenge the salesperson throughout the customer lifecycle.

To get results it takes more than just an understanding of the sales process. It takes experience and an understanding of why salespeople fail and what makes some salespeople succeed. Here are a some FAQ's

How does the program work?

First, we begin with an interview process to identify the goals and objectives for both the salesperson and the Business Owner. This is often a joint call and then individual discussions. Setting goals and objectives is critical to the success of our sales coaching program. We work with the client until the goals are written, comprehensible and there is a clear vision for where we will be at the end of the coaching commitment. If we don't know where we are going, we won't know when we are there. Here is some of what we do in our sales coaching program.

  1. Sales person testing and sales skills assessment.
  2. Develop sales process and solution selling strategies.
  3. ACT! contact management assistance and support.
  4. Capabilities analysis to determine primary sales focus.
  5. Customer analysis for targeting prime customers.
  6. Sales activities goals and objectives are established.

We typically do most of our sales coaching over the telephone. Although, we also use web conferencing when demonstrating a program makes sense. For example, we teach and coach salespeople how to use ACT! A web meeting makes this easy to demonstrate.

Salespeople will commit to goals and objectives in our sessions and become accountable to them on a weekly basis. If weekly activity objectives are not reached, we recommend and report adjustments.

What Kind of time investment is involved for one salesperson?

The salesperson is expected to commit to attend an average of four 45 minute conference calls per month. These conference calls may be a combination of individual and group sessions. The group sessions are designed to provide a public level of commitment and accountability to the activity goals. The individual sales coaching sessions are designed to target the troubled areas of sales for the salesperson.

The salesperson will also be expected to complete the reading assignments for his/her sales group and complete the sales activity assignments.

How many salespeople are involved in a sales coaching group?

The ideal number of salespeople in a group is 7 and we limit the number of clients and groups we support. We work with a group in two parts, one in the group environment and in the individual sessions.

What does sales coaching involve?

This is a great question and the answer is "everything". Over time, we will get to know one another through discussions on tough issues and this will take us to understand why actions are taken. Everyone is different and when the salesperson can open up to constructive advice, we will touch on almost anything. As a sales coach, I find it important to understand why someone believes in something so we know the basis for the actions.

We profile both the business and the salesperson so we know what we are working with. These profiles take into account what the services are which are most profitable and what will help us reach our goals the fastest.

We will provide recommendations on sales tools and marketing campaigns so we can leverage the benefits of having a salesperson who is focused on a selling where the operation wants to grow the business.

The best answer to this question is that it takes a commitment to success and a burning desire to do what it takes to become a better salesperson and a more profitable operation. It takes a commitment to a sales process and following a sales and marketing program.

How long is a sales coaching commitment?

A sales coaching commitment is usually for 6 months although either party can be released from this commitment after the third month. The major time investment is in the beginning sessions when we work on sales goals and objectives. Due to this significant investment on our part, we expect to see the results from our working with a client which may take 6 months to realize in tough circumstances.

We will always let the client know when we believe the results will NOT be realized in a timely basis. Plus, we reserve the right, not to take on a client because our suspicions lead us to believe the salesperson will not met expectations.

How much does this coaching service cost?

Consider this service is an investment in sales growth and your future. The investment has a base rate of $495.00 per month for one salesperson and is adjusted based on the number of individuals and services we provide for our clients. In some cases this sales coaching service is part of our Automated Sales Process Management program where we support a sales team with a suite of combined services.

If you have a salesperson who is just starting, we have a SPECIAL RATE you can ask about so they get off to a good start. We have an introductory rate because it is easier to mold someone in the beginning than to to correct poor sales habits later.

When do these coaching sessions take place?

We work with the schedule of the salesperson or client to make it as convenient as possible. When it comes to group sessions, we work with the group to determine the best times.
