What makes Selling Magic Different?

The difference is . . . we listen to your problems. We have several options and not every prospect is an ideal client for us. In fact, we don't work with everyone.

The important thing is finding clients that match our profile. We are looking for business that are interested in making sales easy.

Why the name Selling Magic?

 

Selling Magic is the name Steve Martinez envisioned for his business many years ago when he first purchased the domain name. Steve liked it because Selling Magic had his initials of "SM" and he liked the sound of the business name. At the time of purchasing the domain name, Steve was also influenced by a book titled "Sales Magic" by Dr. Kerry L. Johnson. The logo of Selling Magic has "SM" designed into the logo.

Who is Steve Martinez?

Steve Martinez is a sales professional who learned how to print before he learned how to drive. He gained an early understanding of the printing business in college. As a competitor, he reinvented himself from analog to digital technology.

Steve has a solid and balanced family life and faith which keeps him on track toward doing what he enjoys most. Helping others achieve success. Steve enjoys writing, reading, hiking and spending time with family.

What is Selling Magic's Experience?

We are certified Mastermind Consultants teaching the best practices of sales. We adopt the sales and marketing strategies we also learned on the streets when we sold large, small and corporate accounts. Steve has been working with and teaching businesses how to generate more profits for decades. Steve's Resume includes sales with IKON, Danka, Multigraphics and later with PIP Printing and then PIP Corporate. Steve honed his business skills and gained franchise experience from his thousands of sales calls. Steve has over 30 years in the industry. Digital printing and document services have played a role for him throughout his career. Steve's most recent position was the National Sales Manager for Franchise Services Inc. His experience with PIP and Sir Speedy is an excellent foundation for his sales success formula.

Steve is also an ACT seasoned expert and Mastermind consultant. This experience allows him to leverage this knowledge building an automated sales business Goliath. This is done by designing a sales solution and integrating the best practices into a sales organization.

 Steve has the experience of selling and marketing to both major accounts at the c-level and to the small business owner. Steve honed his own success formula of a sales process through these experiences and teaches these best practices to his students. 

How does sales coaching work?

If you know sports, you understand that coaches will first take time to assess their team and the individuals. This is exactly what we do. Our first sessions are designed to learn where the strengths and weaknesses are along with the opportunities. We ask lots of questions so we understand where the client is ranked in experience and what sales processes they are following.

The experience Steve brings to any business is that of a seasoned trainer who knows how to sell, and market in a strategic, dynamic and vertical marketplace. Steve listens first to understand the important issues of a client. Once he knows the situation, he then coaches and guides the client to achieve success. Steve doesn't claim to have all the answers, he does know where and how to get them.

What is Sales Automation?

Sales automation is an important aspect of our program and must design a sales action plan that will work for you. If we determine that Automation will enhance your success, we will recommend it. We are Mastermind Consultants authorized to train you and provide the customization you need to maximize the sales automation features.

Many of our clients don't have a sales plan in place when we meet. The planning and development is the critical part of sales automation and we guide you through this process. The illustration below shows how our program will work for you. Each of the 7 areas of the selling process must be planned to match your business objectives.

Is Sales Automation Expensive?

NO! Sales automation is a bargain compared to most investments a business makes. Automation is usually a one-time development and software purchase often with customization to maximize its benefits. There are no monthly or annual extras unless you consider technical support insurance, extra. When we present a proposal you will understand the investment has an excellent return on the investment. Usually, you will want to get started as soon as possible because of the significant opportunity for sales growth.

What is the Suite of Services?

We are solution oriented and our goal is to provide a complete solution. The recommended suite we suggest may include, Sales automation, emarketing, template customization, virtual sales coaching, sales management components, sales training, ACT training and database customization.

You have the option of starting with one module, several modules or all of them as part of a complete sales solution package. Your timetable can be stretched over weeks, months or years once we establish your best method of execution.

Does the Sales Acceleration Program only use ACT?

No. Our program works with ACT and Outlook in many other configurations including server based and multiple locations. We recommend the ACT version because of the inherent management features of ACT. If you are a single user, and location the Outlook version may be a great option if sales management is not as great a concern. We have great add-on options for either version you select.

Can I just get Sales Automation?

Yes. However our clients will tell you the sales automation journey will be tough without a guide. If you don't know where you are going, it is a tough task. Naturally, we encourage you to invite us along with you. We provide added benefits and industry specific training, customization you won't find anywhere else. However, we recommend you speak with us directly to get a clear understanding of your investment and our attractive added benefits.

Can I just get ACT training?

Yes, you can receive huge benefits from our ACT sales training. We specialize in customizing ACT for the printing industry. We have trained hundreds of business owners and salespeople how to increase sales with ACT. You can get this training by the hour, week or gain access to our sales training vault to learn on your schedule.

Is emarketing a single option?

Yes, emarketing is a module of our suite that you can adopt as a single solution. We have the experience in emarketing to formulate a successful program for you. There are many ingredients in any emarketing program that add to the success formula. Both Activator and ACT have options you should explore before making a decision on which program to use and we can help you. Emarketing is one of the least expensive options we offer. However, It is also an option many people are not prepared to organize and structure. We simplify the process and provide the tools to ease this into your sales program.

How long does it take?

Rome wasn't built in a day and creating a sales program for an organization does take time. When we design a sales program, the customization usually comes from the research provided by the client. If the client proceeds quickly, we can develop the solution quickly too. Depending upon the project size and the modules required you can expect a completed solution in weeks, sometimes days. If you take advantage of a special package and group session, we can speed up the process and reduce your investment. The benefit of this option is quick implementation and group training. We condense these opportunities into a 1 1/2 day session and package the option into a quick start package. For more information, contact us.

What is a typical investment?

There is a wide range in our services and you can begin with a small investment or we can develop a complete program. The lowest option is $90.00 per year for email branding. Business sales coaching is next at $450.00 per month and extends to a complete sales management proposal with several users, options to several thousand dollars. We invite you to let us evaluate your situation and estimate what your solution investment would be, we estimate a range of 1/4 to 2/3 annual salespersons salary.
